DIESEL FUEL ADDITIVE
TYPE : Concentrated Additive for Diesel Fuel PROD.# 0583
BENEFITS : Blend of solvents, emulsifiers, lubricants, and corrosion inhibitors that dissolves and removes sludge and fuel deposits from storage tanks, fuel lines, pumps, filters, and burners. Solubilizes the heavy oils and waxes that form sludge and deposits. Will not interfere with oil/water separators. Pour point depressants keep fuel free-flowing in cold weather. Cetane improver prevents spitting and sputtering at the burner and allows fuel to burn more evenly in the combustion chamber for reduced knock and clatter.

DESCRIPTION
Zep Diesel Fuel Additive is a concentrated fuel stabilizer including excellent flow and cetane improvers. Formulated and blended to achieve the right combination of performance characteristics and lubricity.
The specific level of performance enhancement achieved when using Zep Diesel Fuel Additive is dependant upon the properties of the fuel to which it is added. The following specifications are based on typical performance results obtained upon addition to No. 2

Zep Diesel Fuel Additive is a concentrated diesel fuel stabilizer formulated and
blended to achieve improved performance characteristics and lubricity. Zep
Diesel Fuel additive utilizes a blend of solvent refined neutrals with additives
providing a variety of performance enhancements to fuel oil. A flow improver
modifies wax crystals preventing low temperature flow and filter plugging
problems. A diesel ignition improver raises the cetane performance of the fuel
promoting easier starts and better operation. An anti-oxidant improves the
stability and quality of diesel fuel while preventing deterioration that can occur
during long term storage. A gum dispersant prevents the deposition of
insoluble gums in the fuel systems and on internal parts. A moisture displacing
corrosion inhibitor protects fuel storage tanks and engine fuel systems from
rust and corrosion damage. Two lubricity additives help to prevent fuel pump
wear. The degree of improvement or enhancement of the above performance
characteristics will vary depending upon the quality of the treated fuel.
Registered with the EPA in accordance with the regulations for fuel and fuel
additives.
