BENEFITS : Zep BLAST AWAY is a versatile, liquid steam cleaner, pressure washing compound, and heavy duty detergent for use in a wide variety of difficult cleaning operations. It is a clear, thin, red liquid containing an unusually high concentration of wetting agents, alkaline builders, and water softening agents, which break up and disperse stubborn grease, grime, and dirt. BLAST AWAY may be used on all sensitive paints and aluminum trim. It will reduce or prevent build-up of scale in steam coils, depending upon local water hardness conditions. It emits no irritating fumes or unpleasant odors, and may be used in hard or soft water, hot or cold. It is biodegradable, and rinses free with a minimum of water. It may be used for hot soak vat cleaning of truck cabs, bodies, and trailers.

DESCRIPTION

APPLICATIONS
Use through steam cleaners and pressure washers to degrease engines; wash truck cabs, bodies and trailers; clean heavy machinery, greasy concrete floors, transmissions and a variety of other surfaces. Use in food processing plants.

ZEP BLAST AWAY is a concentrated steam cleaner, pressurewashing
compound and heavy-duty detergent for use in a wide variety
of difficult cleaning operations. It contains a high concentration of
wetting agents for maximum dirt penetration, alkaline builders for
dispersion of grease and grime, chelating agents to avoid hard water
deposits, and corrosion inhibitors for use on soft metals. Formulated to
reduce or prevent buildup of scale deposits in steam coils, depending
upon local water hardness conditions.
DIRECTIONS:
This is a concentrate. Dilute as directed below before use. Use hot
water if available.
MEDIUM TO HEAVY-DUTY STEAM CLEANING - Dilute 4 to 6
ounces per gallon of water according to amount and nature of soil.
Rinse.
LIGHT TO MEDIUM-DUTY STEAM CLEANING - Dilute 2 to 4 ounces
per gallon of water. Rinse.
HOT SOAK TANK (FERROUS METALS ONLY) - Dilute 6 to 12
ounces per gallon of water depending on amount and nature of soil.
Rinse.
HEAVY MACHINERY CLEANING - Dilute 2 ounces per gallon of hot
or warm water. Apply with sprayer, soak 5 to 10 minutes and hose off
with a strong stream of water.
CLEANING GREASY CONCRETE FLOORS - Dilute 6 ounces per
gallon of hot water or 10 ounces per gallon of cold water. Allow to
soak 3 to 5 minutes and mop up or rinse off.
WASHING TRUCK CABS, BODIES, AND TRAILERS - Use ZEP
BLAST AWAY with high pressure (min. 600 psi) and preferably hot
water (140-160°F.). For heavy-duty brushless cleaning, dilute 1 part
with 25 to 50 parts water. Always follow with high pressure rinse.
NOTE: Concentrated product may damage alkali sensitive paints and
aluminum trim. Test before use. DO NOT allow overspray to dry on
glass surfaces. Immediately rinse to prevent formation of stubborn
residue.
BIODEGRADABLE: All detergents used in the manufacture of this
product are biodegradable.
