DESCRIPTION
Zep Carpet Antifoam is a concentrated, liquid defoamer that contains a blend of silicone antifoam agents, corrosion inhibitors, nonionic emulsifiers and emulsion stabilizers dispersed in a water system.

Zep Carpet Antifoam may be used with any type of hot water extraction carpet cleaning machine.

Non-corrosive commonly used ANTIFOAMANTIFOAM into vacuum intake hose periodically to prevent foam buildup in vacuum tank. The amount of antifoam required depends on (1) the level of shampoo residues in the carpet and (2) the level of greasy, "foaming type" soils in the carpet.
FOR USE IN OTHER PROFESSIONAL STEAM CARPET MACHINES: Add 1 to 2
ounces ZEP CARPET ANTIFOAM so as to mix with pickup solution rapidly as it leaves
the carpet. Upright machines can be tilted back and the antifoam added to the vacuum
intake with the vacuum motor on. On other machines, the vacuum hose can be disconnected from the vacuum tank and antifoam added, with the vacuum motor on, at the vacuum intake. Where the above cannot be done, pre-mix antifoam 1 to 4 with water and apply 5 to 10 ounces to an area of the carpet using a pump-up type garden sprayer.
The antifoam can then immediately be vacuumed from the carpet in normal cleaning.
The application may be repeated periodically so as to prevent excessive foam buildup
in the vacuum tank.
